A Weekend in Whistler

Where to Stay:

Fairmont Chateau Whistler – Cozy cabin feels located at the base of Blackcomb. I stayed here with my family and loved the indoor outdoor pools and hot tubs as well as the location, not to mention Portobello’s is on the bottom floor of the hotel.

Four Seasons Resort Whistler – right next to the Fairmont with the same easy ski in ski out; rooms are a little newer.

Westin Resort and Spa– Centrally located at the base of the mountain in Whistler Village where all the action happens.

Friday:

Breakfast: Gondola up to Rendezvous Restaurant for some quick breakfast before hitting the slopes.

Take the Peak to Peak over to Whistler for some runs.

Be sure to feed the Whiskey Jack Birds at the top of the hill.

Lunch: Ski in for a break at Milestones at the base of Blackcomb.

Hit the slopes again and maybe have a hot tub outside with some cocktails.

Dinner: Il Caminetto – amazing Italian food; their Caesar salad was low key amazing.

If you want to have a night out hit up Buffalo Bills for some pool and club vibes they have it all.

Saturday:

Breakfast: Portobello in the Fairmont Hotel. Their breakfast bowls are to die for; I could have them every morning.

Head up the Gondola for some runs on Blackcomb.

Lunch: At the top of Blackcomb you will have the best lunch view at Christine’s.

Ski over to Whistler and head to the base where there’s probably already a party happening at Longhorns. Have some Après drinks there but beware of the Champagne guns.

Dinner: Sushi Village if you have a big group. You get a private booth and must take your shoes off, its nice and Cozy. If you want a more sophisticated restaurant head to Araxi for some oysters.

Walk around the village after and get a drink at El Furniture Warehouse.

Sunday:

Head over to the Scandinave Spa to recover from the weekend in outdoor hot tubs and saunas and end with a relaxing massage.

My Happy Place

Bikini: Solid & Striped (top) (bottom)

Cover Up: Missoni

I had the most amazing mother daughter trip this past weekend in St. Barth. I was able to trick my best friend in to thinking I couldn’t make the trip and then surprised her in the morning at the airport. It’s always great to have some mother daughter time along with my friends and their moms.

It’s safe to say my mom and I have the same taste from clothes to vacations. I can always count on her to have something I can borrow to make my outfit better. She is the queen of white beach clothes and the look I am wearing over my St. Barth bikini is all hers. Thanks mom! We spent our first and last days at Nikki Beach..which makes it even harder to leave when the party is just getting started there. Hope to see you again soon SB xoxo

Bikini – Kopper and Zink (top) (bottom)

This brand new hotel Le Barthélemy in St Barths is a dream. Their infinity pool looks out to the water of the same unreal color that you think only exists in movies. It just so happened that my bikini decided to match the hotels color scheme and I was definitely okay with that. If you are an avid Revolve shopper like I am, you may have noticed this was the hotel where they had their Revolve Around the World influencer gathering.

A Weekend in St. Barth

Thursday Night:

Bonito – If you’ve ever wanted an instagrammable drink that actually tastes delicious too Bonito is your place. Each drink has their own special presentation, my favorite being the Sex in the Bath that even comes with a little rubber ducky. And just like their drinks, their food is just as amazing. Bonito is great if you want really great food and it also has a great atmosphere. I usually hit this place up during the week because the other restaurants like Bagatelle and Le Ti are really fun on the weekends. If you want to continue your night after dinner, Skybar is right below and perfect for after dinner drinks.

Friday Day:

Le Select – This is a great bar in the town of Gustavia if you want to just grab a beer, preferably a Carib. It’s very low key with delicious French fries and burgers. If there is a soccer, or should I say football, game on I highly recommend watching it here.

Friday Night:

Le Ti – hidden away from the rest of the restaurants Le Ti is a must. Dancers provide you with burlesque entertainment throughout your meal and eventually the whole restaurant turns in to one big party.

Saturday Day:

Cheval Blanc – If you want a more relaxed but very pretty lunch be sure to check out Cheval Blanc. It is still lively with a DJ and truly picturesque.

Saturday Night:

Bagatelle –You’ve never seen bottle service until you’ve gone to Bagatelle. With Magnum bottles or if you feel like ordering 6 personal bottles, your bottle will get the grand entrance it deserves. Whether it’s Superman flying through the crowd with your bottle or having it being rode in on a motorcycle it’s sure to be a show. Be sure to order the truffle pizza before you quickly end up on the table dancing.

Sunday Day:

Nikki Beach – There’s no party like a Nikki Beach Sunday day party. They go above and beyond for the theme of the week with decorations everywhere. Start off with a sushi boat and some rosé and before you know it you’ll be table dancing with the saxophone player. Although it is still pretty fun on Friday’s and Saturday’s if you’re going all the way to St. Barth you won’t want to miss the Sunday party.

Summer Season?

Well, I thought I was about to skip my first winter in Chicago but it seems like that all changed this past weekend. It was the most bipolar weather I have ever witnessed. There truly were all four seasons in one day; there was a snowstorm then sun with warm weather and back to snowing within the minutes. A little snow won’t stop me from believing summer is almost here though! I thought I would share with you some of my favorite bikinis for all of you out there starting to plan your summer vacations. I have a serious bikini problem and can’t wait for this weather to warm up so I can start buying some more!
