A Weekend in Whistler

Where to Stay:

Fairmont Chateau Whistler – Cozy cabin feels located at the base of Blackcomb. I stayed here with my family and loved the indoor outdoor pools and hot tubs as well as the location, not to mention Portobello’s is on the bottom floor of the hotel.

Four Seasons Resort Whistler – right next to the Fairmont with the same easy ski in ski out; rooms are a little newer.

Westin Resort and Spa– Centrally located at the base of the mountain in Whistler Village where all the action happens.

Friday:

Breakfast: Gondola up to Rendezvous Restaurant for some quick breakfast before hitting the slopes.

Take the Peak to Peak over to Whistler for some runs.

Be sure to feed the Whiskey Jack Birds at the top of the hill.

Lunch: Ski in for a break at Milestones at the base of Blackcomb.

Hit the slopes again and maybe have a hot tub outside with some cocktails.

Dinner: Il Caminetto – amazing Italian food; their Caesar salad was low key amazing.

If you want to have a night out hit up Buffalo Bills for some pool and club vibes they have it all.

Saturday:

Breakfast: Portobello in the Fairmont Hotel. Their breakfast bowls are to die for; I could have them every morning.

Head up the Gondola for some runs on Blackcomb.

Lunch: At the top of Blackcomb you will have the best lunch view at Christine’s.

Ski over to Whistler and head to the base where there’s probably already a party happening at Longhorns. Have some Après drinks there but beware of the Champagne guns.

Dinner: Sushi Village if you have a big group. You get a private booth and must take your shoes off, its nice and Cozy. If you want a more sophisticated restaurant head to Araxi for some oysters.

Walk around the village after and get a drink at El Furniture Warehouse.

Sunday:

Head over to the Scandinave Spa to recover from the weekend in outdoor hot tubs and saunas and end with a relaxing massage.
