West Loop Weekend

This past weekend was my first weekend back in Chicago for the year. It was great catching up with everyone and meeting up with some old friends that just moved to Chicago. I love hearing from friends where they go out in cities since online reviews aren’t always accurate and people have different tastes in what they like. I’m now going to included places in go in the cities in my outfits so if you think you have the same taste as me you can get an idea of where to go from someone similar to you. I started my weekend in the West Loop which is the new trendy area. I met some of my  college friends at Lone Wolf. It was a nice little bar where you can actually talk to people but still have fun. We then headed over to Federales. It has a great patio that’s fun while the weather is still nice out, but the inside is just as great.

The next night I had dinner at MAD Social. The food was incredible! All the dishes were very interesting, my favorite being the chicken and churro waffles. I spent most of my weekend in the West Loop but ended Saturday night a little closer to me at Stout. I love this bar because it’s sort of like a hybrid of a bar and a club and the music is always great!
